The Watermead Park Restoration Project

Our conservation team are set to begin a new project after receiving wNatRes_Watermead002_pondfunding from Lafarge Aggregate Ltd.  The Watermead Park Restoration Project will involve a conservation officer leading volunteer groups in managing the willow at the site in order to enhance the biodiversity.  In addition to the benefits to the biodiversity, the local community will be able to volunteer and so learn new skills and a sense of greater engagement with their local nature reserve.
